With the month of October coming to an end we at Coastline Leisure would like to share the exciting things that have taken place this month whether it be new holiday home arrivals, happy customers or events. So many new arrivals

In the month of October we have seen a total of 4 handovers and 2 plot reservations not to mention lodges bought for our new fountain lake at Heron Lakes which is due to be completed by the end of the year, from statics to plot reservations on lodges it’s been a great month for people moving in to their dream holiday homes.

Swift Adventurer – Lakeside Holiday Park

Lakeside holiday park handed over the keys to Mr Tyrell, he is now the proud owner of a classic Swift Adventurer and will be enjoying his many years of holiday home ownership sited right next to the great lake.

ABI Wimbledon – Lakeside Holiday Park

Lakeside Holiday Park saw the hand over of 2 units this month, Mr & Mrs Holbrook also took the keys for their new home away from home, a spacious ABI Wimbledon.

2019 Willerby Grasmere – Lakeside Holiday Park

A warm welcome to Mr & Mrs Appleby

Who have just accepted the keys for their stunning 2019 Willerby Grasmere at Castle Howard Lakeside Holiday Park with a premium plot right near The Great Lake. We hope you love your time here

2019 Prestige Lawley – Hollicarrs

Over at Hollicarrs we saw the handover of a stunning 2019 Prestige Lawley to a Mr & Mrs Williams. They were both excited about the many years of holidays they can have amongst the forest at their new holiday home.

Plot Reservation – Hollicarrs

Mr & Mrs George secured their dream plot at Hollicarrs this month and have specced it at the factory to their liking.

Mr & Mrs Petcher secured their own dream plot on Hollicarrs Holiday Park and have visited the factory to spec their new lodge to their liking.

Lodge Sited on Customers own Farm land

We had another handover this month, this one was much more unique and different for us and was an exciting endeavour to undertake, A Customer got in touch with us and asked if we sold lodges off site, naturally we did everything we could to get the lodge off site for them and brought to their own private farm land. We sold them a new 2020 Tingdene Savannah and had it transported to them and fully sited with a concrete base and wrap around decking. New Lodge arrivals

October has seen many new lodge arrivals on all 3 of the parks from luxury lodges with roof terraces (Spinney Vue) to spacious static caravans at the Castle Howard Lakeside Park (2021 Sierra/Manor).

2021 ABI Alderley

Brand new arrival at Lakeside Leisure park the 2021 ABI Alderley

The Alderley is light, calming and spacious. A relaxing interior where you feel the stress fall away and the relaxation flood through you.
An open plan living area fronted by outlook patio doors is full of light. Large sofas make the most of the lounge area where you can take in the view or cosy around the fire for family nights in.

The fully fitted kitchen is next to a dining area for up to 4 people. The hallway leads to a twin bedroom and a family shower room. The master bedroom has plenty of storage and wardrobe space, a dressing table and an en-suite WC.

October Update on Fountain Lake at Heron Lakes

The Fountain Lake is the latest addition to the family of lakes we have here at Heron Lakes Holiday Park, as the name suggests the lake will feature a great fountain centre piece. It will look truly stunning.

Plots around this new lake are selling fast, take a look at these images below to get a good idea of the size of the up and coming lake and maybe you’d like some more information on it if so please call 01964 541777 where our friendly sales advisors can book you in for a viewing and potential plot reservation.

The development is nearing completion and we expect to have the fountain completed by mid November with the first pitches sited and ready for use by the end of the year.

October Events

With the current situation going on October hasn’t seen as many events going on as there normally would be, but rest assured Castle Howard has made socially distanced events for people to enjoy whether it be the Skelf Island halloween event or the Christmas Event thats running for a month from the 30th of November. Take a look at some of the events that have taken place this month.

Classic Car show – Castle Howard

The Castle hosted its yearly car show that normally takes place on fathers day each year but was postponed. It saw a socially distanced meet up of many different types of car enthusiasts with Cars ranging from the McLaren Ultima to the Mini Cooper. The meet up will be on next year at its usual date of fathers day in June.

Halloween at Skelf Island

Castle Howard are also wanting to provide a Halloween event for kids during the October half term based on their exciting play area on the outskirts of the estate right next to the Great Lake.

Normally there would have been more events this month but due to circumstances many events have been cancelled as it just isn’t safe to host them event with social distancing rules in place, a good example here is Hull Fair which would have only been a 30 minute drive from Heron Lakes but was cancelled this year after being on consecutively since 1945 where World War 2 had put a stop to it. You can bet that next years Hull Fair will be bigger and better than ever.

We Look Forward to November

As you can see October has been a busy month for us at Coastline Leisure as we power on to November and the nights get darker we hope to continue our great successes and get more people in to their dream holiday homes.
