With just over 4 weeks to go Tour de Yorkshire 2018 has finally announced the full route as well as the teams competing this year!
The Tour de Yorkshire 2018 will return to the region for its fourth edition in May, the race starts May 3rd and will end May 6th.
The men’s race will begin in Beverley and finishes in Leeds on the 6th whilst the women’s race will start in Beverley and will be ending in Ilkley on the 4th.
The route out of Beverley runs through Routh and passes two of our idyllic holiday parks High Farm Country Park and Heron Lakes. We offer accommodation at both parks. At High farm we offer beautiful cottage rentals as well as a Touring park, if you wanted more of a taster for a holiday home then at Heron Lakes we have wonderful luxury lodges to rent. Availability is limited so be sure to not miss out by either calling 01964 541777 or emailing – firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cyclists will then make their way towards Hornsea looping around the Mere before heading back to Beverley where the first sprint will start.
The third leg of the men’s race sees the cyclists making their way through North Yorkshire, to places such as Northallerton, Helmsley and Pickering.
Pickering is not far at all from another one of our idyllic parks Castle Howard Lakeside Holiday Park where there is a touring and camping park available along side our holiday homes for sales.
Pitches are going quick so be sure to call 01653 648316 to make a booking.
Both races are set along the beautiful scenic sites of Yorkshire, with plenty of places to catch the cyclists.
With an exciting atmosphere and a buzzing crowd it will defiantly be an event to watch come rain or shine.
