Tour de Yorkshire

The Tour de Yorkshire is a professional cycle race lasting 3 days running across Yorkshire. The race began as a legacy event following the success of the visit of the 2014 Tour de France to the county.

Each Tour de Yorkshire race is split into stages over three days covering a number of different areas within Yorkshire each day. In 2018 the race has been extended to four days, and will run between 3-6 May.

This years Tour de Yorkshire will not only be passing through parts of East Yorkshire, but the four day race is starting in Beverley.

The route out of Beverley runs through Routh and passes both High Farm Country Park and Heron Lakes, we offer accommodation at both parks and still have some availability at each site.

The cyclists will then make their way towards Hornsea looping around the Mere before heading back to Beverley where the first sprint will start.

The third leg of the race sees the cyclists making their way through North Yorkshire, to places such as Northallerton, Helmsley and Pickering.

Pickering is not far at all from Castle Howard Lakeside Holiday Park where there is a touring park available  along side our holiday homes for sales. Pitches are going quick but call on 01653 648316 to make a booking.
